Basically he said Penalties absolutely killed us. Too many 2nd and longs, leading to 3rd and longs and the 3 & outs. So the Oline was terrible. Drive killers, and getting Drew beaten up back there.

The Redskins offense didn't do anything we weren't prepared for, nothing we didn't practice for. We simply didn't play well, or execute well enough.

The team has faith going forward and they still believe. Good leadership and tight unit. We just weren't good enough today, and huge disappointment for the fans. The team feels they let the fans down.

Gotta clean up those penalties

People don't realize how much this killed our game.

Good leadership

i don't know about this.... leadership keeps players accountable... accountability leads to discipline.... discipline leads to decreased errors... errors that we saw a lot today.....

i'm not saying we don't have any leadership, but i think it's not quite a prevalent as some in the media portray or report....

Colston needs to get his head in the game.... Drew needs to stay calm out there, because at times, he tries to do too much too soon... our defense as a whole needs a severe kick in the arse.... they are not "doing their job"....

and the banner at Saints HQ needs to come down.... that rah rah bullshite ain't working.... simply execute and you can be in a position to win.... they are not executing....

More concerning to me is Jenkins post game press conference. He just said Redskins had a good game plan, RG3 played well. Our players left a few plays out there, but Redskins made some good plays. We were prepared. I know they don't really show concern, but come on you can't be all rosy and sunshine pumping up there.

Good news is he, Drew, and the other players recognize we lost our season opener last year and we will move forward.

We as fans were so amped and antsy to just watch this game, I can only imagine how the players felt after what they went through this offseason.

First game jitters, and just bad penalties. Drew says the Penalties were just too much. Also, we don't play that athletic and talented of a front 4 often this season. We will clean up the Holding/False Starts, and protect Drew better. I am scared for the 49ers game though.

Good news is we fought till the end, we have faith we can always come back. We've done it before and believe. Everyone is moving forward and looking to improve.

i'm not "scared", but i will say this... if we don't come out and score early and often, forcing them to rely on Alex Smith, rather than Frank Gore, we will lose that game going away......

their defense is ridiculous and we cannot afford any mistakes that day.... if they get a lead early and we have to be one dimensional like today, we will lose by at least 14 points, if not more....
