I don't hate the Yankees so much as I hate people outside of New York who love them...and the media. I admire the way the team is run, just wish more owners had a "win at all costs" attitude.

Yuck the Fankees.

This is almost as good as the Sox making the playoffs. Frick the yankees.

Rays win division, and Yankees slash the hearts of all Baltimore hopefuls in the wild card game. In Baltimore.

Oakland and LAA cry.

If the O's make the wild card game... there will be no slashing of hearts in Baltimore. That would make this season a success beyond any real expectation. Hell, just being a pennant race is a success.

Why Not? Part 2.

I find myself hating the Red Sox for the exact same reason. There are a lot of Red Sox fans that haven't even been to Boston before, simply because of 2004. I can at least respect the Yankees' tradition

The Orioles are like a dog chasing cars. They won't know what to do once they've actually caught it.

If the Yankees are the car in this analogy, we plan to do what all dogs would do... pee on it.

This times infinity. If you are not from the 5 boroughs or the NY metro area, if you root for the Yankees you are the epitome of a bandwagon fan and the ultimate sports jack arse.
