Yeah same here. Huge section of Metry with no power but you hardly see a thing in terms of progress.

I was wondering the same. I did a quick, though not thorough, aerial survey and found a sub-station in Hollygrove. There is a sub-station right next to the part that's on. Same thing in west Carrollton. There's a sub-station next to the streetcar barn.

Made reservations at the Monteleone and sure enough the wife tells me power came on 30 minutes later (in Algiers near Lakewood CC, around 2:30).

Today was a good day to be working downtown in the A/C.

You lucky SOB, the had a crew fixing the light at De Gaulle & Lennox/Kabel this afternoon, you must be on the same grid. That was the only entergy truck I saw in Algiers.

Chances I get power back sometime tonight around Tulane University?

I'll say 15%

I'm hearing conflicting reports...

Is Entergy working dusk to dawn or around the clock?

Post in this thread when you get power, bro.

When you do, I likely will too. So I can head home.

Will do. I'm hoping Cox is still up and I can remotely log in to my router. That's the only way I'll know I have power besides the ever so reliable Entergy map. I guess my neighbor could call me, but she's probably too pilled out to remember to do that.

The Entergy map seems to get updated only once a day, sadly

I just got back to BR from NOLA, and the way they were talking on 690, Cox won't be up for some time.

I was at my office right there at about 2:00 before I headed back to BR for comfort and the LSU game tomorrow. It's good to know it came on right after I left.

I left Touro around two o'clock and they are still running on generator power around the clocks. That doesn't bode
for the rest of uptown considering a hospital should be a top priority to get power back.
