I think we'll be fine. Probably get some nasty storms on Wednesday, but we'll be fine by gameday

Play North Texas, get a storm on 8/29. A trend is forming.

Serious, just giving some heads up the major models are shifting west again. Not playing games here. Keep an eye on it.

I don't think that the storm will be bad enough to shut everything down through Saturday even if it does come through here. Ideally, we'll get a hurricane day to take off on Wednesday then go back to normal on Thursday. That's what I'm hoping for

Yep. Hopefully this is the last time we ever play these fricks again.

Just trying to spread the word not trying to upset anyone. The GFS now has it at NOLA and going up into Baton Rouge. If nothing else, just stay on top of it.

Yeah I gotcha. I'm not really going to worry unless it hangs around in the gulf for a little longer than it should

It's just one model, there are several that are compiled in making the "cone." The European model has it still going to Ft. Walton Beach/Destin.

I understand where you're coming from, honestly I do.

Let's just keep an eye on it.

This is the GFS run that just came out. Probably the best computer model.

I understand that but once again, it's just one model. The European hasn't been updated since 3 pm today.

Let's keep an eye on it and just see what happens.

I went through 3 of these things in 6 weeks when I lived in Florida and none were cupcakes, Charley, Frances and Jeanne.

Look at the meteorological factors that could steer it. There's a dip in the jet stream that could steer it more to the east, putting it more in the middle of the cone.

It's early to hit the panic button but again, I understand your concern. I certainly don't want it coming here either.

Let's hope it isn't 2005 all over again! Freakin Tennessee loss and screwed up schedule.

Just a heads up. The Euro model is the most historically right model and it's showing an Ms/Bama landfall Tuesday night. Gotta follow this one tomorrow.
