Anybody got a recipe for shrimp creole?

My mom, just told me her secret, and Brennans, is to add a tablespoon of pickling spice in cheesecloth to the creole.

The best I've made is from the Plantation Cookbook and is on page 51 of the recipe book above. FYI: You can freeze the sauce before adding the shrimp and the lemon juice. Works well if you make a lot of sauce and want to have it for a quick meal.

Guys I'm trying to post a pic of the shrimp creole. No luck. However the recipe is awesome. I added a 1/2 cup of Chardonnay to cook down with. Fantastic

Are you serious about the pickling spice?? I just smelled some from my cabinet and it seems the flavor of allspice and clove would be way way to overpowering and wouldn't mesh with the flavors of the dish.
