Dear Red Dragon Listeners, My dad, Chris, discovered an unfortunate surprise yesterday when visiting the Red Dragon. Apparently someone walking by our building decided to turn on an outdoor faucet (which we didn't even know existed) that led indoors to a no-longer-attached ice maker. Maybe the person was trying to get a drink of water... However, when said water was not produced outside, they simply walked away instead of turning the faucet back off... To say this bluntly, our building was nearly completely flooded. It had about 5 inches of water at its deepest point in the back of the building and was nearly 1/4 inch on the other side of the room right up to the stage. The green room (and bathroom near it) was unaffected but the back bathrooms as well as every other part of the room suffered large amounts of water... Hundreds of gallons... As you can see in the video and pictures attached, this is what we dealt with. A small group of us were able to run up there and do as much as we could before it got too late last night. A whopping 4 hours after my dad arrived at the dragon he was able to leave knowing a great majority of the water was removed. We left the A/C and a dehumidifier running since last night in hopes that even more water would be evaporated out. Since our listeners have been such a faithful and generous bunch, we have a favor to ask of you. This Saturday (August 25th) from 9am-12noon our buddy Ray Cate is giving us a helping hand and requests a few more. He simply asks that you bring a bottle of febreze and whatever else you can think of to help us get rid of the inevitably musty odor that will produce if not properly treated. We greatly appreciate any and all assistance in our time of need. It is not yet known if we have lost any couches due to this mishap, but we have lost several signed posters, as well as other coveted memorabilia, that we have collected over the 9 years that we have hosted shows.

Looks like they could use some help if any of you have the time.
