Where To Watch LSU Game In Chicago

I'm going to be in Chicago next weekend and I've never been. Any Chicago tiger fans have any good suggestions on LSU bars or just a good place to watch the game? TIA
ETA: I saw the bar in the FAQ but it's pretty far away from my hotel, just looking for other suggestions.

The Chicageaux Alumni Chapter watches games at The Standard in Wicker Park.

Thanks, I may just have to make my way over there even though it's a little far.

What neighborhood is your hotel located in?

go to The Standard. If anyone is still going to Gamekeepers do not go there. That place sucks.

Stop your bitching right now. Go to Standard B&G.. its worth the cab fare. The even have Abita on tap.

I'll be up there for the Florida game. Same weekend as Catholics vs. Convicts at Soldier Field

There aren't many sports bars, per se, within immediate walking distance of your hotel. The only one that comes to mind is Timmy O'Tooles, a rathskeller southeast of your location, near the campus of Northwestern Medical Center. Not the liveliest of crowds. You could always walk a couple of blocks north and west to the Rush/Division intersection, which is rife with drinking establishments. However, most of those are clubs and hook-up meccas, not sports bars. Somewhat farther north near Lincoln Park is a huge sports bar called Joe's, but that is typically overrun by Florida fans and various Big Ten riffraff. In any event, if you are going to take a cab, you might as well go to The Standard. It isn't nearly as far as it might seem.

Appreciate it. Seems like my best bet is to just head to Standards and hang with the alumni

Standard is awesome. We have a great time there. A lot of fun getting smashed on Saturdays and cheering for the Tigers.
