I've finally decided to give in and try fantasy football by joining my brother-in-law's league. It's only an 8-team league with standard scoring except passing TDs are 6pts instead of 4.
I understand that RBs are usually valued more than QBs in standard scoring but with the 2 extra points should I grab a QB earlier than usual or do the points not really matter that much?

Greetings Charleaux. Good luck this year.
I'd grab a QB early. In an 8 team league, you will be stacked at the other positions. Everyone will. A good QB will set you apart.

Thanks Gyno. Draft order has not been determined yet but hopefully I can grab either Rodgers, Brady or Brees. If not, I assume Stafford and Newton are good second-tier options?

Depending on your draft spot Id wait until your 2nd pick to grab one
