What do you think the DT rotation will look like this year?

Barring injuries Logan should get ~75% of the snaps at one spot. After that, what says the rant for the split between Freak, Ego, Downs, and company?

Also, Chavis has been known to play a 3rd DE at the DT spot on passing downs. Who do you have for this (if at all)?

Rasco played this last year next to Montgomery.

Right about BL18

It'll be a mixture of those 3 seeing equal snaps.

I think we'll see Ahgayere (sp?) get some DT pt

Hopefully Mickey Johnson. I really want to see this kid play. He comes to mind when I think about recruiting drama. He had the hype, now let's see it

Let's just say that in obvious passing downs, everyone we play is fricked.

Mule, especially with Mingo and Mont coming off the corners, or even Edwards. Scary situation! With a line like this, who says we need extra blitzers?!?!

I really had thought the DE DE DT DE front was part of the notorious Mustang package, but everything I read says that set is a 3-2-6.

I think its a version of mustang in a way, just a lot of crazy things they can do to throw an offense for a loop

The Mustang is a 3-2-6. It looks almost like a 3-4 but with corners replacing the OLBs and playing wider.

Freak

lot of unproven talent. I think he will be a good one, but will have to wait and see.

Ego

imo ahead of freak at the moment. all indications are that he blew up since last year..and the light came on.

quote:

Downs

he is a good, experienced D lineman who played his freshman year. If he can stay healthy, he can be very valuable to this team. If he could stay healthy, he would start at a lot of SEC schools.

Yea, that is what I was reading. It has created a lot of havoc.
