I thought the Maryland helmets from last year were the worst thing I'd seen but ND's version =

Not a fan of those tech fit uniforms. UCLA wore them in the Pac12CG and their pants kept falling off because no belt.

I think it's frankly sad.

ND of all teams in this arms race of who can be more funky.

Any program that is a Top 10 all time should resist this trend.

I honestly don't think they look terrible. I like the potential.

Had they done the full helmet in that gold foil look and then put the Fighting Irish logo on that, it would have been better. I do like the gold foil look and the attempt to put the logo on the helmet.

Of all teams, Notre Dame has no business going down this road...especially messing with the helmet.

From the neck down, it's a pretty good set (except for the socks - those don't fit in). I would like to see a slimmer stripe on the pant leg. But that helmet is absolutely disgusting.

Glad these will only be used one-time.

Uniforms are fine but those helmets are atrocious. WTF is with all of these programs across the country, I never thought I'd see the day where ND would abandon the golden domes.

not a fan of the helmet. especially dislike the asymmetrical design.

the numbers on the jersey look a little cartoonish as well.

not terrible. The only thing I don't like is the off center helmet design and the no belt pants.

Welcome to the future people, Notre Dame is getting stylish.
