Folks miles would have no reason to meet with TM7 at this point or any point in the future, except to say goodbye. This has been clear for five days now.

There was only ONE LSU official being quoted in 5 days. The rest were from "sources close to Mathieu." They don't have to retract random rumor quotes.

Why not? He decided he was going to go all "rogue official" and talk to a pseudo-"journalist" without consulting with anyone at LSU. Who knows if that dude had an agenda or not.

Again, I'm not saying that's what happened but what made Bo give his quotes to Guilbeau and not the Advocate or the Times-Pic? Reporters were swarming Friday afternoon. Why pick Glenn?

Kleinpeter is totally clueless and not credible on this story and at all for that matter, kind of feel sorry for the poor little guy...the guy to rely on is Hanagriff

It does not mean that Miles is a liar. It means that LSU is saying that Miles said he did not meet with Tyrann. LSU as an institution is quite dirty. I would believe it more if Miles stated it himself in a press conference.

Miles is notorious for NOT jumping the gun and feeding the rumor mill.
If he denies there was a meeting, he's certainly not risking his entire reputation by stating that, whether it's true or not.

This (the TP report and then the Bonnette denial tweets) is confusing to me...

If there was a meeting, what is the reasoning for denying it? And also, if they were going to deny it, who told kleinpeter that there was a meeting in the first place?

The way this story is filtering through the media is so bizarre.

When you talk about someone getting played here, who is getting played? I'm trying to figure out what everyone's motives are here.

I thought this is what everyone wanted:

LSU/Miles - transfer to Mcneese
TM - stay at LSU
TM family - transfer to Nicholls

Are LSU/Miles a completely different "party" altogether?
