I gotcha. You can find Dunk and Egg online in PDF format. The names of the short stories are: The Hedge Knight, The Sworn Sword, and the Mystery Knight. And need to read them in that order.

I keep telling myself the WOW will be out by Christmas, but I know it's not true

Just wanted to go on record again that I think Varys is a warg and maybe more. The first Cersei chapter in feast she notices a moth in the lantern that refuses to die then goes onto to say, "where's Varys? He's always here."
I've gone into detail before about this but I wanted to note this part during my reread. And yes I know Varys HATES magic but every magician hates magic except their own.

And Varys is from over seas. And has a lot of disguises and can go unnoticed... almost like he can change his face?? A faceless man? A lot more going on with Varys.

I'm going boiled leather on the reread and in the first Tyrion chapter of Dance, Tyrion notes Varys dressed as a begging brother, in a moth-eaten robe while he's making his escape from King's Landing.

Well you always have to be wary of the guys with only one name. All the maesters go by their first name and are supposed to serve the Lord of whatever castle they are in even if it switches hands.
So we never know where true allegiances are with anyone with no last name, or a last name that's not known
