Where are the purple eyes!?

If we are to believe that R+L=J, I guess it could be argued that the dark Stark genes would dominate the Targaryen grey hair and violet eyes.

Plus there have been Martells and Baratheons who married Targaryens and their 'half-blood' children did not have Targaryen features.

Therefore, it's still plausible that Jon could be 1/2 Targaryen despite his Stark features.

Targaryen/Targaryen offspring have them for the most part. Certainly a recessive gene.

Definitely recessive genes.

And here's a page update for you, glassman: I just read the part when Catelyn took Tyrion... I have a lot of catching up to do because I haven't read in 3 days. I have to say, I find her way more despicable in the books than in the show. She's such a bitch!

Except for that whole pesky war that Stannis is currently on the other side of the line on. So it will go to his older male cousin, which is, I believe:

Lancel Lannister.

I think it has to go to a Baratheon.

That's why I always refer to her as "that bitch Cat" or "that bitch un-cat".

She is definitely a bitch and a major causative factor in a lot of the bad shite that has happened to her family and to Westeros.

That's not really a theory, that's a fact. Unless Mance was lying, but I see no reason he'd have to lie about that.

NIH, the Tullys were never kings.

I believe the Tullys were kings before Aegon the conqueror.

Nah, they only became Lord Paramount after they helped Aegon in his conquest. Harren the Black was king over the Riverlands during the conquest. The Riverlands were fought over a lot I think, but the Tullys were never kings.

ETA:

The Tullys never reigned as kings, though they held rich lands and the great castle at Riverrun for a thousand years.

I stand corrected. Nice reference.
