Jamie was so apathetic about the whole thing he was ready to (or did?) bang Cersei on their son's tomb or whatever

Even worse, is he felt absolutely no grief and felt that his son deserved it.

Tyrion couldn't care less about his nephew.

Despise is a word that comes to mind.

I don't blame Tyrion for despising him...but Jaime? Kind of weird to have no sadness over your child's death. Granted, Joffrey was a sadistic a-hole though, and I don't get the vibe that Jaime had much to do with his children's child rearing. Plus Myrcella and Tommen are both decent kids, and did not inherit their brother's madness. As we know with the Targaryen incest, you flip the coin with your odds of having a mad vs. good child. This can be applied to Jaime and Cersei's kids. Genetic diversity is much better for the gene pool!

So...I still haven't figured out who killed Joffrey. Any thoughts?

I think the Queen of Thorns is the one who undid the poison from Sansa's hair when she was "fixing it". I'm sure Margaery would've been informed to ensure that she wouldn't drink from the cup, she may have even been passed it and placed it in herself so she would specifically know at what point to stop drinking. Likely Littlefinger was involved as well since Dontos gave Sansa the hairnet and he was working for LF at that time.

Jaime didn't despise him, he just saw him for what he was, and thus didn't give a damn about him. Plus Cersei tried to make Jaime be as distant from Joffrey as possible, so that didn't help.

This was my assumption as well. All the QoT had to do was wait for a distraction which Tyrion provided. In his POV, I remember that all eyes were on him several times. Who would notice the little old lady during the Dwarves jousting.

Did I miss something here? I thought LIttlefinger did explain that very scenario to Sansa, that the QoT did indeed pluck a poison pellet out of Sansa's hairnet and put it in Jofferey's drink.

It was either LLF that explained it or Sansa figured it out- I'm thinking she did cuz she ditched the hairnet quick fast and in a hurry during the escape from KL - before she knew Dontos was LF's pawn.

Again, my read was so long ago...

IIRC you are dead on. LF gets women to poison people. Lysa poisoning Jon Arryn.

I'm pretty sure it went down like this. LF and the Tyrells had planned Joffrey's death from the beginning. When LF was dispatched to try and win the Tyrell's after Renly died, I believe they made a plan to kill Joffrey off in order to arrange the Margery Tommen union. Joffrey was corrupted by his mother and they needed to remove her in order to stake their claim to the throne. LF arranged for Dontos to give her the hairnet. The QoT loosened the stone. Sansa unknowling dropped it in the goblet. It is basically untraceable to either party. Poor Sansa and Tyrion got the Shaft. By getting Tommen instead, they now have a boy that is enamored by his pretty bride and the glamour of Highgarden. The Tyrells are trying to replace the Lannisters as true rulers of the realm like the Lannisters were when Robert was alive.

Also Tommen is less likely to have his kingsguard smack Maegery around.

Wait! Sansa dropped it in the goblet? My memory is getting worse than I thought.

Need to add a last window of Martin with his head turned, walking away, mumbling "Jorah's a fricking dead man..."
