The cleansing of LSU's delinquent football culture...

I propose that not only should we drug test the players but also go to each underage players dorm on Friday and Saturday night to breathalyze them. Underage drinking is illegal and against school rules and is much more dangerous than smoking a little dope! If players under 21 years old are caught drinking multiple times they must be dismissed from the team!

Do it for all students, since they have more free time to drink and all. You get caught you get kicked out of school. It would be like BYU

What the OP is pointing out is the double standard for weed and booze. Somehow weed is demonized into being a horrible narcotic and booze is bikini clad ski teams and men being men. The reason so many people fail drug tests for weed is that it stays in the system longer than any of the others. Usually about two weeks. All other drugs and booze are undetectable from 6 hours to two or three days. So you can be a total alcoholic driving around putting everyone at risk and you won't show up on a drug screen unless it is with 6 to 12 hours. Hell you can even be a heavy coke and meth user and it won't show up after a couple of days.

Classic case of rantards overreacting. These players are not just there for our entertainment. Yes, they are afforded many opportunities that most of us never get, but when it boils down they are still college kids. They do need to be held to a higher standard than the average person due to their exposure and effects on the program, athletic dept, and university...but this is just too much.
Just like any of the rest of us, they like to have a good time in college. Everyone drinks underage there and everyone knows it, it's part of the culture of a college town. What they need to be educated on is how to be responsible with their fun
