Haha yea Eugene already has a great name. One of my favorite players/recruit in recent years. For those who arent familiar with him, he was a 3* recruit from Acadiana. Played both ways. My #'s might not be exactly correct, but Im pretty sure im close. Had around 125 carries for over 1200 yards. Avg around 10 yards a carry. Big time play maker on D. Did it all for his team that wound up beating west monroe for the state championship. Didnt have an offer from LSU til after the state championships. Les Miles went and watched all the games and said Micah Eugene was the best player he saw play out of all the state championship games. Hes 1 of those guys that LSU finds in cajun land, Louisiana that wasnt a national recruit, but he was a steal. Im very excited for this kid.

I loved Eugene coming out of high school, and I've been surprised that he hasn't really been on the field yet so far

I graduated when he was coming into acadiana but before i left all of the coaches were buzzing about him and really excited to see him play. 4 years later he is the best athlete to come out of acadiana. Can't wait for him to show everybody what he's got

I'm pretty sure he got offers from USCw and Bama right after LSU offered him. We shouldn't need other schools to validate how good one of our recruits is, but it's nice to know he got some national recognition too.
