The wife (no pics) and I are looking to go to 26 New Orleans restaurants from A to Z. We were thinking the places don't have to be places we have never been before but they do have to be local places and not chains. The places can range from street food to fine dining.

I turn to the F & D Board for suggestions. Whatcha got?

This has the potential to be a great thread and an even better series of threads if you broke it down into letters (singles or small groups). There are way too many restaurants and it'd be too time consuming to compose it properly for one post.

Or we could suggest letters with corresponding restaurants and he could compose his master list. For example J juicy Lucy's or Jacques Imos. C could be Commanders palace, Camillia Grill or Cafe Maspero. F could be Five Happiness. R Rum House etc.

Start with Adolpho's as well as August. Just went again Sunday night and had fantastic meal as usual. It's a little New Orleans gem IMO.
