thanks for reply to previous post...had 3 teens with us so despite the recs to skip shaggy's the teens wanted to go...should have skipped it..food was average at best...no flavor fried seafood..hot as hell in dining room, a/c on windows open...good view, though not comfortable....Steve's Marina Rest, newly opened, had dinner in bar...bar tender very likable, stuffed fried softie was above average with a stuffing crabmeat dressing, gumbo was OK...did not get chance to try wolfs, opted to cook the fresh shrimp we acquired at roadside vendors ( 10 count shrimp $4/lb) scampi style, barbequed and broiled...NOLA reviews to come
