If you are in River Ridge, drive into Harahan and check out Nuccio's white beans. They are good.

Also, there is a place called KK's Cookies, Confections, and Catering... in the strip mall across from Phil's Grill on Severn in Metairie. Their white beans are phenominal. Also have some of the best cookies I've had in NOLA.. I like it better than Sucre'. They did a variety of cookies and some white beans for a party my mother had, and everyone was raving about them.

I know it sounds weird, but I'd check them out. I love white beans and their's were excellent.

Don't know. But I ate three bowls last night of some fine white beans and tasso. Pretty sure I could go note for note with Wynston Marsalis right now.

You have an extra consonant in your spelling, there is no S in it. My older sister has played with him and others of his family, and is well acquainted with Mister Jackson of Idol fame.

I don't think they are on the regular menu at RS, but the red beans on Monday are the best Ive had.

Joe Sepie has good white beans with thin fried catfish.

New Orleans Food & Spirits has white beans with rabbit on Thursdays. YUM!

And I actually think the white beans at New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood are really good.

This

Rabbit sells out quick, but you can also get fried catfish or pork chops with the beans. If you ask, they will still ladle some rabbit gravy on your beans.
