I love Swordfish. And I fapped to Monster's Ball once.
FWIW, a lot of "real" actors seem to be turning up in straight to video movies these days. It isn't just Frank Stallone and Daniel Baldwin anymore.

I liked Swordfish alot.
She really could've cornered the Black Actress market...I really think Catwomen hosed her. That's all i can remember her for instead of Monster's ball...

She was never good enough to have sustained success, period.
She was the boobs "flavor of the month" for a few years and tried to get serious cred with Monster's Ball...nobody else in Hollywood bought it...which is why she went immediately back to eye candy in a fricking terrible Bond flick and immediately followed that back to the bottom where all boobs and little talent go...horror genre...and Gothika.
I like her...but she's the Wesley Snipes of female actresses. She had Monster's Ball, he had To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.
I expect to see them both reunited in a Madea movie.

Outside of the Oscar and X-men, what has she really done? Nothing in her credit list jumps out as WOW!. Outside of her being insanely hot, she just isn't a big draw as an actress.

What does this mean? Snipes has made movies for a while, including the pretty popular Blade trilogy.

She's not a great actress by any stretch. The year she won the Oscar she more or less accused Hollywood of being racist if she didn't win and the limp wrists out there gave her the award.
