Is this a sign of something wrong with my lawn? Ph levels off? Soil has fungal issues?

Nothing wrong. It will keep growing and eventually be in your neighbors yard.

Not much you can do for it.

It is caused by previous alien landings, similar to crop circles...

Wood underground, usually stumps or old roots. Fungus rots it, and the mushrooms are the reproductive part of the fungus.

No, it's just a sign of old tree roots rotting. It usually happens were stumps were ground down and after you plant sod over the spot. The shrooms will grow where the roots are rotting.

Put soapy water on the shrooms. It will get rid of it without harming your lawn.

You've got an elf hanging around. See if you can catch him.
