What to get from Sammys?

I am going to Sammys in Central tomorrow with some friends to eat and have some drinks. The few times ive been there it was for either just drinks, crawfish, and maybe some apps. I need suggestions for what to order as an app and meal.....

They have a lot of good stuff. Just depends on what you like.
I've always liked their baked/broiled fish specials.
Onion rings and huge azz cheese sticks or good for starters and both are homemade.

Question for anyone who knows the answer....When Sammy's Southern Bistro was located in the center where Ralph's is on Jones Creek & Tiger Bend, was that menu the same as Sammy's on Highland or was there no affiliation between the two?

Not on the menu but they will make you a buffalo shrimp poboy if you ask for it. I get it with pepper jack and it'll make ya have an organism it's so good.

I remember the poster Gugich/Dempsey's saying that his dad was a part of that Sammy's Bistro. I was just wondering if the other person involved was Sammy's Highland...Gugich said his dad didn't want the video poker machines, but the other guy did...Martini's normally pretty astute with his knowledge of these things.
I wish I could have all my video poker losings back. Those damn machines were addictive.

My dad and Sammy owned it together - 50/50. Some of the menu items were the same but some were different. They had a delicious brunch. The Geo special...
