I agree. Defoe continues to shoot time after time when better options are available. He has good pace and energy, but every time he gets the ball you know it's going on net.

Ade is just a bum.

Just finished the match...holy shite what an abomination. NEED A STRIKER. Gallas can't leave soon enough for my liking.

I can understand our sub par midfield play due to the injuries (Dembele has been clutch), but I am tired of watching Ade walk around like he is on a stroll in the park! We have to get a striker! Who will score when bail leaves...? Defenders on corners? c'mon man

This striker situation is pretty dire. I know Demps can run up top, but he is not the answer for a hopeful UCL side. I read on BR(big grain of salt) that Spurs are looking at Higuain.

I like this draw. Definitely winable. Not sure how Walker being out for the first match will effect us though.

Who hosts first?

Sadly, history means little on a year to year basis. I still think Totts are the more exciting team and have more confidence that they will be top 4 than Arsenal will.

Arsenal has an easier schedule to end the season and a game in hand. It might come to goal differential and Arsenal has an insormountable lead in that key statistic.

I just don't think the historical gap means much to any of the Spurs fans on here. Most of us, not all, have only been fans for the last 4-8 years (or less) when we became fans of the game.

I'm guessing most of the Arsenal fans on here haven't been touting their history vs Spurs for very long either.

I see Arsenal as a rival, but not some historical roadblock.

Very similar. The schedule just for the mext three matches could see Arsenal ahead.

Spurs: @ Swansea, Everton at WHL, @ Chelsea

Arsenal: Reading, @ West Brom, Norwich

Chances are there will be atleast some closing of the gap by April 14.

Yea. I was looking at all the schedules earlier. City I think has the toughest road. But yea, Spurs will need to get back in form quickly, even if it means tanking in the Europa, or we will be back in it next year.

Some help from Arsenal and Chelsea would be greatly appreciated.

Only reason I even care about tots is their direct threat to us right now and the fact that my dad decided to root for them so its our in house rivalry.

Historical rivalry? Meh, I don't live in North London
