Adu is garbage. Not even close to being a Championship player. We have one useless American player in Rogers. Why would we want another one? MOT

That's just not even true, you clearly haven't seen any of this year's Union or US Qualifying games.

He wasn't even in the squad

You mean the Olympic qualifiers? Where Adu was the captain and most experienced player in the squad and we got knocked out by mighty El Salvador?

I'll go ahead and get my front page post in, but all BS aside, come May 2013, this thread should not be anymore than 3 pages long. Leeds predictions... more of the same

Obviously talking about the games he played in yes, and if you couldn't recognize that he was not only one of the hardest working but also most skilled players on the pitch for those matches I don't know what to tell you.

I agree. By and large I think he played very well.

I'm just saying that him captaining a youth team that lost to one of the CONCACAF minnows and failed to qualify for a major tournament is hardly evidence he can cut it in the championship, one of the most grueling and physical leagues in the world. After all, Freddy has always shown with the youth teams it's making the step up to the next level that seems to be his problem.

Tell me....What has Adu done on ANY level that would make him an attractive proposition for Leeds or any decent Championship team for that matter?
