If he came in, I see him as the most advanced of a 3 man midfield... As of now, I imagine Luis and Sturridge will make up 2/3 of the forwards.. I'm sure they'll interchange in the middle and sterling/downing/ince? will fill the other role...

That could be a solid attack running a Bielsa style 4-3-3 with the three mids staggered and Sneijder playing off the center forward like you said

Reading that Henderson was really sick with vomiting last night. Somehow managed to play a solid game through all of that and is now quarantined from the rest of the team. Impressive.

Figured that's what they did. They had no intent to attack in the second half although that space between the midfield and CBs was wide open as always..

One last thing on today... Glad to see Gerrard hitting a nice run of form... He was all over the pitch today and playing hard when the game was well in reach in the 2nd half...
And Hendo is looking more and more comfortable and confident in BR's midfield...

It's about time he was recognized for the effort he has given his entire time at Pool. He's a polarizing character, certainly, but he's one of the most passionate players I've ever seen play. When he was first signed, one of the first things I noticed about him was that if the ball was within 20-30 yards of him, he'd be running his arse of towards it. He's even poached a couple of goals after picking unaware defenders' pockets (Norwich comes to mind). If he were an English players there would be a circlejerk over him, the likes of which haven't been seen since the one over Rooney in like 2005-06. Needless to say, I love him (no homo... mostly)

I saw the same thing, but also posted n article from Richard Buxton saying we wanted to sign him on a permanent deal... I found the latter surprising since he hasn't really shown/played much here... But I still think he is a quality player..
