I didn't see today's match, but I am just getting so frustrated with our lack of offensive output. This team is just not enjoyable to watch for extremely long stretches.

I don't even know what exactly I'd suggest we do different tactically. I just know this shite isn't working. Might be time to push Cazorla back out to his typical wide position. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a 4-4-2 with Theo or Arshavin playing off Giroud, Cazorla on the left, Ox on the right.
A healthy Diaby would do wonders for us right now considering we need someone who can evade/power past the initial line of high pressing which is causing us so many problems. Arteta's lack of athleticism, Jack's reluctance to attempt that, and Mertesacker's weak passing ability are being exposed right now. Teams have us figured out and we haven't adjusted at all. That's what is most depressing about all of this.

Diaby got injured so long ago, when is he expected back?

The ominous/illusory "couple of weeks away," I believe.

I'm never one to scream and shout "SIGN SOMEONE ARSENE"! But yeah, we need someone who can link up with Giroud and Podolski through the middle. Wilshere and Cazorla look gassed at times for good reason.
ETA: André Schurrle is probably too expensive for Arsenal, but he's not a bad option. Lewis Holtby might be a bit cheaper, but he's also expressed interest in returning to England.
Maybe Cesc secretly hates Messi and demands a midseason transfer.

So I started to download this game.. it was taking forever so I cancelled it.
Found the score and was extremely glad I didn't watch it.

We're basically going back to the early noughties approach that Chelsea mimicked in recent years. We don't really have the players to do it though. We have the players to play a high tempo/high pressing system. It's really frustrating that we've given up attacking nous for defensive rigidity, when we are not all that good at defense.

I didnt see the match either. im so sick of my friends knowing im a huge arsenal fan blurting out the scores to the game when they know i work almost every saturday morning. After hearing the score i couldnt bring myself to watch it. So wtf happened? I know there is a lot of season left, but this isnt looking to good for an arsenal team that may have the least amount of points under arsene ever at this stage in the season.
At times this team looks like one of the best in the world, other times it looks like a relegation squad.

Probably.. we haven't beaten a team with 11 men on the pitch in about 2 months..
QPR and Spurs both had 10.. and QPR was offside even.

He must have meant earlier in the year when we were playing well.

yeah some of the early games made me think we were getting trophies this year. Not so much anymore. This team has had some very impressive games.
This post has been bookmarked.
Arsenals ten best goals from 2011-12
Yeah, we miss Alex Song and RVP. A LOT.
