Caz can play left and right. Poldi left and central. Theo right and central.

This grouping has the worst movement of any front three we've played this season. Cazorla comes inside to be the auxiliary no. 10. Podolski plays with his back toward goal, rarely turns, rarely takes players on. Walcott has excellent movement but no one opens space up for him. I'd really like to see Gervinho, Ox, and Walcott play upfront at the same time. Those three are the most dynamic in terms of running.

i fricking hate poldi at CF. i don't love him at LW for that matter, but at CF he's an abomination. i thought theo's movement was off today too. he made the wrong runs on multiple occasions. i've been saying for a few weeks, ox has earned a chance...if for no other reason than no one else has really impressed. i would not be opposed to the front 3 you suggested.

ManUre not resting on laurels.

I hope like hell we do SOMETHING this summer. While we are still a top club, we are contending for "top four" and nowhere near ManUre as far as being a contender for PL or CL.

This is frustrating.

Pull for Chelsea this week. They win and we control our own destiny.

And frick Bacary Sagna.

Seriously. If that dumbass hadn't gone full retard we would be in a much better position. I'm not sure why Arsene hasn't benched him, but he better be gone come this summer.

whoah guys calm down. Sagna is getting old and slower, 2 broken legs. I can understand the frustration, but all players have screwed up this season that could cost us. Im ok with sending him out, but hes been nothing but a good player for Arsenal.

On the other hand, this team is crazy. Get up on a team and just go into a lull. Play like shite then look like the better team in the second half. i dont know if this squad has played well for the entire 90 minutes of any game this season.

Jenkinson should have kept starting all year when healthy, there was no reason to bring an out of form Sagna back from a huge leg break

it was a terrible error which we had an entire half to correct. if we end up missing out on the CL there will be a lot of blame to divy out.

Yep.

those are really odd words from as SAF which could lead to some conspiracy theories. helps them a lot more for us to be out of the champions league and lose that huge cash than it does Chelsea. if you believe our transfer budget will be reduced significantly by lack of CL (everyone seems to), that could be the difference between us fighting for 4th again or actually having an outside shot at the title.

time for one of those meaningless imaginary table stats: we've gotten 34pts in 2013, second behind MU's 36.

The other big 3 teams outside of Man U have played 1 less game, but still pretty revealing stat line.

The stat interdasts me for 2 reasons:

1) This means that we either hung with or outplayed the rest of the big clubs in the second half of the year in spite of that shite period in late winter/early spring.

and

b) Man U absolutely raped in the first half of the season. Unless there was some discrepancy I'm unaware of, 49 points over 19 contests or 2.57 points per game. I didn't realize that. They've been pretty good in the second half of the year, but not necessarily above and beyond the performance of the other big clubs.

So u blame the player? Oh no coach, im not going to play. You have to start someone else.

See how ridiculous that is. This is on arsene. Just like him running wilshere into the ground again.

Maybe if arsenal had quality depth and a half decent medical staff, these problems wouldnt come up. Instead we continue to play mediocre and oft injured players.

Edit to remove a dumb statement. Misread the post... but still Arsenal's depth has more quality than most of the league.

he is blaming Arsene.

I think sagna starting is way down the list of our season's troubles.

the key to our second half success is kos and per.

I keep seeing rumors that {blank} club is interested in Kos. He is the Cesc, Nasri, RVP that we can't let go this year.

After such a tough first year, his past 2 have been great for the most part. I just think he is the perfect combination of speed and aerial prowess.

Not sure how you're reading that instead of what I wrote...

I'm just stating Jenkinson should have been starting, I'm not even saying anything would have changed (aside from perhaps not literally giving RVP a goal, but he might have messed up elsewhere so it doesn't matter)
