He is the highest paid manager in the world. Why go to any other club? Makes no sense to me.

Because our board and owner aren't the greatest.

True. It is so hard to be a fan of Arsenal.

It would be the most Arsene thing ever if he sold himself for a profit to another club.

Do you guys really think Wenger is gone or considering leaving? Or are you just playing through the various scenarios?

Well no one knows anything. But this is the first time many have felt like he might not extend past his current contract. So pretty much we're just playing through the 3 potential scenarios.

1. Wenger stays and extends his contract
2. Wenger stays through his contract, but leaves after next year.
3. Wenger leaves in the summer.

So at least we can claim moral victory that we only "lost" to bayern on an admittedly flawed and arbitrary away goals rule while they absolutely destroyed Juventus and Barca. Arsenals impressive run of drawing the best team in the round of 16 or quarters of the CL continues

After watching Chelsea celebrate making it to the Europa Final made me think...Would other Gunner fans accept the Europa or Carling Cup Titles as "Title" or do you only accept the big 3? I would accept the Carling and comforting for the future and secretly be happy about a Europa Cup Title.

If we were in chelseas spot, battling for top 4, I wouldn't give a damn about the Europa.

Now if we were safe into the top 4 (say man city position), I would be all for trying to grab a cup

Clubs exist to win trophies. Period.

It's not that black and white. Id take qualifying for CL over carling cup and Europa in a heartbeat. It'd be close with the FA cup. Making the CL greatly increases your chances of competing for the league and obviously it's the only way you can compete for the CL title

If you're in a competition late in the year, you play to win it IMO.

I don't think anyone would disagree with this but with the lack of hardware in North London. Would you consider Europa Cup or Carling as ending the drought?

i don't agree clubs exist to win trophies, but i would agree that at this point, you should go for it.

I would have loved the 2011 Carling Cup. That Cesc-led team could have been amazing. I really believe if we won that trophy, we would have won the league. We were second most of the season. After the final, we won only 2 games, drew six, and lost three.

I would take any trophy right now so we can we build the confidence of our young players. We need that more than anything else.

You know what I mean. Winning is the objective for any competitive team.
