I'm looking at a green one, but I like the ones with a little metal flake in them. Any thoughts on weight?

Blue ftw. The bluer shades of color will add more spin which will give you more velocity.

This is the kind of info I am looking for. I am usually opposed to anything blue, but having the right equipment in your bag makes such a difference. Spin and velocity? Hmmm... I might go check out some blue Brunswick's at the pro shop.

The new Bridgestone prototype. Very quiet ball.

Don't worry about color. Just get one that fits your game. For a good ball you're going to have shell out about 200 clams. I got a "Reign" by Storm. Great ball with great action.

I could be way off base here, but I think the OP is trolling/making fun of all the golf threads.

Eh. Whatever. I love bowling and I don't come to this board much. Oh well, if anyone actually came in to this thread looking for advice on getting a ball then maybe I helped, who knows

I know bowlers who don't use a thumb hole.

Hell, I know bowlers who don't use any of the holes, they just palm the ball.

Drives me crazy.

I try I'm not very good and it's expensive. I'm good at bowling and I take my friends' money when we gamble.

Well, both Storm and Lane 1 have ended the thread... yet, nothing was posted about them?

Blue balls offer more velocity and spin.*
