Just to confirm, if we buy him out before July 1st, it's only $13 million, and someone else (Orlando? Washington?) takes on the other $10 ?

I used my debit card so much this week i cracked it in half. Smh

On a serious note, we will be responsible for $13.7m and no one else has to pay him.

His contract was not fully guaranteed this year so if you cut him you only pay half but then Orlando added another incentive so that is why he will get a little more than half in a buyout

Ah ok thanks. It's hilarious (or depressing?) to see how stupid the average NBA fan on Twitter is. Search for Rashard Lewis and most people seem to think Washington "won" this deal.

ETA: Then again most of these people seem to be your stereotypical product of the public education system

If you see the hatchet job of the English language used on 98% of these twitter accounts, yes. I'm not talking about any race in particular, if that's what you're getting at.

I also went to public schools and got a better education than my Catholic school friends. I also have the best degree, as well. Take it for what it is.

Seriously, you are judging public schools based off of Twitter, which promotes shorthand notation with character limits. I think you're doing it wrong.

Easy man, I didn't mean to stir up a debate. Notice I said stereotypical- stereotypes are meant to be unfair and not true. I was just saying the crap I've seen on Twitter corresponds to every bad stereotype of a public school student there is. Bad analogy, I take it back. Sorry.
