Opinions on Alumacraft boats

How well are they put together?

How's the ride when it's a little choppy?

I have an old model (i think 1988) and that dude is solid. Picked it up off a guy on the cheap and repainted it. Not 1 leaky rivot. It is a typical thin aluminum boat so it is very light. I would imagine you wouldnt want much chop while in it. I have a go devil on mine and just use it for duck hunting.

I own a1860 side console. 115 Optimax hung on it. Runs like a scalded cat

It will get you wet from overspray in choppy water if you take the waves wrong.

Overall a nice ride and a speedy hull
