yes im posting alot tonight..more than usual. Deal with it ... FA starts July 11th for you guys who didnt know. Michael Beasley is a FA this offseason. I know he has had his off the court issues...but if we deal Ariza we could definately sign him for cheap. He still has the potential to be a top 10 scorer in the NBA and Monty does an excellent job working with forwards from what I have seen. Thoughts? (I know I'll probably get bashed for this one but whatever)

he is a pretty good scorer. I like him more than most, but i doubt the Hornets are interested. Especially with the 3s and 4s we already have under contract

beasley ain't a guy a team like Nola should gamble on. the risks outweigh the rewards unless we're talking like a 2-3 year deal for $3-4M per max

I can dig it. If Monty can turn Travis Outlaw into a decent player, he can do wonders with a player like Beasley

in the right situation (and with his head on right), yeah. he put up 19 ppg last yr, but it was in a big stats on a bad team type way.

Dude put up Kevin durant freshman numbers at k state. He can score from anywhere on the court. 6 million is probably his market value. He has all-star talent.

I like him if Monty wants a project. We do have the time.

Michael Beasley = Ball Stopper. Would not want him the way he is now. But for the right price and the right coaching he could be a solid addition.

I really don't know, but isn't he kind of lazy or crazy or something?

Not sure we have the vereran presence needed to focus the kid. That's what I was saying about Drummond. We will have a young and talented team, not a veteran team with somebody who has a work ethic problem needs to be. Guys like Beasley and Drummond need to go to LA or Boston or San Antonio or a place like that. Kind of the same way Rodman was with Jordan and Pippen.

Once Gordon and Davis have established themselves over time, then we can start bringing in those guys.

Just my opinion though.
