What is your HONEST reason for hating LeBron?

Before I start this is not a NUMBERS, STATS, ETC THREAD...so dont turn it into that, anyways..
Ok so I've tried to stay out of this as much as possible because both sides are irrational as frick. I will say before I go on that e is my favorite player with KD and T-Mac(still counts) close behind.
But I really want to know from the Haters what yalls legitimate excuse for hating a man so much is?
Is it the fact that hes easily one of the best if not THE best player since MJ?
Or is it the fact that he not only played out his rookie contract but signed an extension to stay in the shitehole of a sports city called Cleveland? and only left when he realized he had wasted 7 years there, wasnt getting any younger, and the front office wasnt helping get any closer to a ring?
Or is it the fact that he has had minimal if not zero off-court incidents regarding family, law, or morals?
OR the fact of the Decision which hindsight is 20/20 but at the time ESPN and his PR people were telling him how great of an idea it was. Not to mention it raised a shite ton of money for charity. And if it is this reason GET THE FRICK OVER IT(excluding LEGIT cavs fans...it was 2 years ago.
So I seriously just want to know what he has done to warrant all the hate hes gotten. I dont understand how you people can idolized MJ and Kobe who were probably 2 of the biggest arseholes in all of pro sports but hate a guy like LeBron(NOW)

This thread had the potential to be legit, but your ranting in the OP is going to get you a lot of hate and very few legit reasons...

I dont hate Lebron but I just don't believe this. I look at best players/greatest players on how I would build a team. Of all time Lebron wouldn't be in my top 10(he's not even the best utility man that belongs to Magic) and since Jordan if I chose players in their prime I would choose Shaq in his prime without blinking over Lebron.
So he gets free praise when people just can't get out of whats happening now.
Now in the game today...he is the best player in the league...I I think the fact that he can guard 1-5 is overblown because of the limited number of true 5's out there...now its more of a hybrid 4.5

I dont really hate him. Dont like him and I'd rather see him lose than win. I'm not going to lose any sleep if he wins.
quote:And how often does he really even guard a 4 or 5? I've seen him take Garnett a few times this series, but I cant recall seeing it much more. I dont remember him guarding Dirk last year, did he?

I don't really hate him. I'd be over it in a day if he won a title.
I just like to root against him because he seemed to thought it was going to be so damn easy to win not 1, not 2, not 3...titles by taking the easy way out and pairing with superstars. I know he'll win multiple championships in his career, but it's fun to watch him come up short.
And the guy is a professional athlete living the dream. I hate when people feel sorry for him.

Now I'm not a d-rider like some of the LeBron supporters, but he is my favorite player since McGrady in his prime with the Rockets, so i want to defend him. Sorry I just had to get it out, havnt commented in ANY LeBron threads, even though there have been plenty of chances

1. He seems like a huge douche. i.e. the coughing shite he and Wade pulled bagging on Dirk, The Decision
2. I typically dislike any player not on my favorite team. (Hornets)
3. I always dislike any athlete that I feel ESPN slams down my throat.
4. I am not a fan of this "superfriends" movement going on in the NBA and I feel he started it.
5. The nerd glasses with no lenses

i love his game.
he amazes me on the court at times.
but at times he goes about things not on the court in the wrong way. some of them have bothered me.
it is my right to hold that against him despite his God gifted ability on the basketball court.

Well the content of the OP certainly calls for unbiased moderation, doesn't it.

I will admit, gladly the Shaq was the most dominant force in the league since he came up but that doesnt mean best. LeBron just excels at damn near every facet of the game.

Whoa. Cleveland is a great place and his hometown. The front office tried to get talent around him. They made it to the NBA Finals, so I wouldn't say that he wasn't getting any closer.
Another thing people hate is the flopping. Granted, it's a widespread problem, but he's still one of the worst in the league.
I think it's mostly because people like debating, and they like polarizing individuals. As long as there are people who love him sooo much, there will be people who hate him.

Some people are just haters. It's difficult to explain and I don't understand them.
They're the type that always pull for the underdog just because they like to see the big guys go down.
I've never quite been able to explain what drives these people to think the way they do. But my guess is they like to see people fail in all matters of life. These same people probably got a lot more joy than you can imagine out of facebook stock tanking. The only thing that makes some people happy is seeing people that others expect to succeed fail (not saying any rational people expected facebook stock to perform well, that was just an example of something haters might get some pleasure out of)

Akron SVSM beat my wife's high school alma mater in the state championship when he played there. I was there, and he had an ego the size of Death Valley. Seemed like a real jerk.

It's because of the dramatic announcement; the not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, not eight bullshite; the laughing at Dirk's injury before later laying an egg; the childish and annoying showboating; and the arrogant demeanor that I dislike Lebron. It has nothing to do with how he plays on the court.
I posted this yesterday in a different thread. I'm entitled to my dislike for Lebron just as people are entitled to jump on the bandwagon and cheer for him.
