My brother brought me back a growler of Triple Dog Dare You from Joe's Downtown Brewhouse in Napa. The beer menu said it was a hopgasm at 13% abv. It is damn good and I will be hurting shortly. Cheers!

DAMN! Thats dedication there! Not sure how safe I would feel transporting a growler. Although they do make some nice growlers around these parts.

Yeah, I was impressed to say the least. The bartender looked at him like he was batshit crazy. He had to go talk to the brewmaster and explain why he was bringing it back. The brewmaster said they usually didn't do that for long distances because of the probable deterioration of the beer. My brother did some serious sweet talking and now I get to enjoy it. Guess I owe that big bastard.

FBD was a Stone IPA.
SBD is a Boulevard Double-Wide. One of my favorite DIPA's.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on some of there Nommo Dubbel. Letspour.com is really starting to destroy my budget.

Are you implying you've been waiting on me to drink it with you?

Nice.

FBD was a bomber of Squatters Outer Darkness and a bomber of Stone RIS shared with a couple of other guys during a "business meeting". SBD back home is 2011 SN Celebration. Some of the hops have faded, but this is still a really enjoyable beer.
