You'd given me directions to that place on the Red after you'd posted pics of some Flathead/Spots you'd caught.
After I got there I realized I'd actually gone through- coming back from Red River Marine after dropping off my boat) about 6 months before and had marked THAT launch on my GPS.
Still, you shared.
Btw, I may have asked you this but can a person leave their truck/trailor on the site if they wanted to pitch a tent on a sand bar and camp?
I will be making a couple of trips to set lines at the river and we always to the Miss/Atchaf but was thinking about going there (red). I wonder if it's ever too low to get through that cut and into the river?? (I may have asked you that too- my memory is terrible).

I left mine there for three nights last fall. Will do it again this fall. No issues. I have never seen it too low in that cut. Between the corp. and the waterway commision, they have to keep that one open. My fear is a collision in the middle of it. I skin 'er back to get through those cuts.

Has anyone mentioned sorgum yet? I know of some people that plant millet, sorgum, sunflowers, and corn.

Anybody know of a good, reasonably-priced bushhogging service in the Covington area? I want to plant a small plot, but don't have the equipment.

Milo and millet. Doves were eating and fricking all day in there

I'll bush hog for you. $50 an hour - 2 hour minimum cause I have to drive.

Got $1600 left to pay on my tractor!!! Woot!
I try to bush hog and disk small plots for that price within 30 miles of my home. Any further, I have to tack on a fuel charge.
Stuff I do on the side because I enjoy it and this desk job is brutal.
