So he hasn't played his sophmore year yet?

247 has him at 6'0" 215. That's huge and he's probably 14 or 15.

Nope, but has already rushed for over 1000 yards twice
ETA: I know this has been posted before but it is a great video and has a lot of Brossette(#4) and Tim Williams(#1)

We could use a 15 foot tall RB.

He is an upcoming Sophomore but has started since his 8th grade year. Also he will be playing more defense this year than in the last couple years. Should have a pretty good season at linebacker as well as carrying the load behind an inexperienced o line who lost all but 1 starter. Great offer by Miles and his staff.

I'm calling him a future LB. at least I hope he is
Posted on 6/2/12 at 6:27 pm to thatsG
I'm interested to see how well he does without that O-Line. He's a great player, but I'm surprised to see him being offered so early.
Posted on 6/2/12 at 6:31 pm to TheBob
This is recruiting in 2012. Everybody else will come offer him early and LSU looks like the bad guys because we haven't.
I think we offered Fournette last year too.
Look at the 2013 class right now-Fourteen commits by June 1st. The 2012 guys aren't on campus yet.
Les knows what he's doing. Got to get on the kids earlier every year.

Will he be the next great Jack LB that Bama poaches from Louisiana?

I really think its about to get out of hand. Its going to be as bad as AAU stuff is with these little kids, except it will be those 7 on 7 teams. The NCAA needs to say that you can't talk to kids until their Jr. year and can't offer them until after their Jr year is finished or something.
Yes it would be hard to regulate it, but it would hopefully curb some of the craziness.

This is nothing against the offer to Brossette, just talking about the overall scheme of things.

Very few get offered that soon
I don't think it's an issue.
Kid must be a stud...got to show him the love..before someone else does

A 2015 Florida QB, DeAndre Johnson, has four offers already.
They include Connecticut, USF, Florida State & North Carolina.
It is being reported that Florida, UCLA and Middle Tennessee State offered him after his spring game last Friday.
Reports also indicate he mentioned that LSU, Alabama and Virginia Tech are among the schools that he’d like to receive offers from.
Les may get his dual threat QB, but he's going to have to wait on him.

It's just starting to be that way though. Next, schools like Ole Miss and Maryland and UCLA start offering a bunch of sophomores then LSU and Virginia Tech and Oregon start offering sophomores and a few freshman. Texas finishes its 2020 class by June of 2015. Then some 7th and 8th grade 7 on 7 teams start forming and the coaches become "agents" and the schools have to start working with them and boom, college football recruiting becomes as dirty as AAU and basketball recruiting.
