Hey guys. Where is the best place to catch the baseball game in terms of a lot of fans, good food, and good drinks. I doubt there will be many places with drink specials because its Friday night. But any suggestions help. just looking for a fun atmosphere to cheer on the tigers. Preferably somewhere uptown or warehouse district. Don't say at the game bc yea I wish I could go. So TIA.

Is it safe to watch a non-Bama game at Rusty Nail? If so that's my nomination

What about cooter browns? Heard it gets packed

I'm sure District and Lucy's will have it, although the food part of that equation should probably be changed to mediocre. eta: Obviously the Bulldog[s] too.

Im not sure how crowded it will be at that time on Friday. Wouldnt be a bad option.
Bruno's is in that area too if you find it too crowded.

Thanks! All good suggestions. I always go to Lucys so I'm trying to find some new options.

if you are in the area of Lucys, just go to Rusty Nail or District. Better TVs and you can actually sit down and watch the game in comfort

though i find the District a little over priced.

I somehow ended up there after the NC game this year and I don't know if that horrible memory of that entire night will ever allow me to go back in that place. I know that's dramatic but it was fricking brutal.

Yea district is pretty expensive. Most likely going to cooter browns. Or another place uptown. Rusty nail is ok.

I usually prefer to mill around outside at Lucys, although weather may become a prohibiting factor now. I haven't been to district since I moved to Houston so I'm not sure what kind of crowd it has now.

Yep. I've actually watched the LSU-Ucla baseball series there.
