I'm sure he will be excited to play in the NBA and sign a big contract but what team do you think he wants to get the number one pick? Even with him being from Chicago, I can't imagine he would be very excited to go play for Jordan's Bobcats. Washington and Cleveland seem like good fits for Davis.

When asked about Charlotte, which has the highest percentage chance of winning the lottery at 25, Davis said the first thing he thinks about is owner Michael Jordan. Washington, which has a 19.9 percent chance, is the home of Wall, which was the first name he thought of in potentially going to the Wizards. Cleveland has the third highest percentage at 13.8 percent and yet Davis said he thinks about LeBron James, saying: "I know this is kind of weird, sorry Cleveland fans." New Orleans, which has the fourth highest chance of landing the No. 1 pick at 13.7 percent, has a special meaning to him since that's the site of Kentucky's national championship.

I doubt that New Orleans hosting the Final Four influenced Davis's want to play professional basketball here.

That's like saying, "Oh, LSU won the BCSNCG in Arizona, so (insert name) wants to get drafted by the Cardinals."

From a basketball perspective it has to be the Cavs. Hornets and Wizards right behind.

Nice thinking with the extra picks but no team that wins will trade the pick. Unless it's the Nets and they trade for Dwight.

I can't see a team that would do it, Davis is a special player. What are the 4 picks you're talking about?

-Cavs and Lakers this year
-Cavs next year
-Future Lakers pick?

Cavs this year is just a swap for #1. I don't view the Lakers picks as valuable at all. NBA draft picks past the top 20(even much lower really) which is where those picks will be are just an absolute crapshoot with a pretty small success rate.

You do lose next year's Cavs pick, but I'll take my chances there.

Because of how the lottery works and how much of a difference one player can make on an NBA team, you have to take the top tier player instead of the picks

Davis could easily take the Cavs out of the lottery, and thus making those first rounders look like shite. Take the guy that can turn around your team, those guys are rare

Ya, trading up to 1 may be a bit ambitious. I would not be surprised if they moved up to the back end of the lottery though.

I could see that. They don't really need to trade up though. As i said on the hornets board, all the top 5 players make a lot of sense on the cavs. They could also have a really interesting haul if they stick with their picks, something like MKG, Moultrie, Jenkins, and Drew Gordon.

The problem is the cavs have more pics than they could sign. 8 picks in the next two years. How bout this, 4 first rounders and Andy Verajoa?
