Is Arkham City GOTY edition worth checking out?

Seems like a pretty good deal. Enjoyed AA but it was very repetitive and I would never play through again. Is it the same story with AC?

No, Arkham City is much different and very enjoyable. Some small things I hated about it but it was a great game overall. Don't know if the Harley Quinn DLC is out yet but I will need to check that out too

Two things I would love to see later on though:
1. More involvement with Bane. I guess I got overhyped with the "working with Bane" stuff before the game came out, but all you get is that small fight with him.
2. Scarecrow makes an appearance. ARKHAM ASYLUM SPOILER:
You see at the end of Arkham Asylum that he survived, but the only thing so far in City is a very small easter egg with him that doesn't really show him

Ah yeah, i did see that. I wonder if there will be another episode to come out. I remember the harley easter egg but im not sure if it will tie into the dlc or not.

There's a few more that you can see some of the fear gas canisters. I hope something comes up with him

Scarecrow. I didn't like the lame jumping stuff that he had in Asylum, but the freaky flashbacks that preceded them was pretty creepy

I kinda want to play through the game again. The whole TDKR anticipation has got me going crazy. I can't wait. Might have to play through AA as well.

Just bought the Harley Quinn episode from GS. Might play it later. I'm supposed to have a D3 orgy later. We'll see. Btw, the dlc was just $9.99.

It's better than AA and much darker and more epic in scope. The story is one of the better ones from the Batman Mythos. Don't play the DLC until you finish the game.
