What do you guys expect from Ivory this year? We all know he's very talented but is injury-prone and in a crowded backfield now. If he remains healthy this season what are some realistic numbers you would expect from him?

I expect him to have a decent season IF we have some injuries at the positon. With all our backs healthy, I dont see him getting many carries unfortunately.

Ingram won't be 100% until the start of the season, so i expect him to get a few more touches earlier on . I have always liked his hard hitting nature and deceptive quickness getting to lanes. He is that rare (nowadays) breed of runner who like to punish defenders, be they cb, lb, or de.

if healthy and a feature back he's a 1200+ yard carrier. I'm assuming he'll have around 750 yards rushing and average around 4.4 ypc as the hammer at the end of games/early down runner. I know he learned about keeping himself in shape/injury prevention after that first year. Hope it all comes together for him.

I expect him to learn and develop behind Ingram; learn how to be a pro.

I'm interested to see if we go more run this year with Drew holding out and Payton not calling plays.

That being said, I think he will be part of the rotation and probably brought in late to close games and goal line situations.

As for stats, I'll say 627 yards rushing on 142 attempts with 8 TD's, 2 receptions for 14 yards and 0 TDs.

Chris Ivory is our best running back.
Well, behind Sproles and Pierre.

I think Ivory is our best true RB. Sproles is the pass catcher/ slot mismatch at RB. Pierre is all purpose RB that is good at alot just not amazing at 1 thing. Ivory and Ingram are the work horses. Im not as down on Ingram as most people think just yet because of the lockout and a season full of injuries. When healthy, Ivory is our best downhill RB.

Isn't Ingram rehabbing right now?

Spot on. It's amazing watching his highlights from his rookie year. Even his 2-3 yard runs were full of hustle.

He's not really a guy to predict or have expectations for to me. His numbers will be more predicated on what goes on with the guys in front of him. With a successful injury free season from the first three RBs he could have under 100 carries again. Injuries to others and 200+ carries I have no doubt he could get 1000yds.

As a pure running back(meaning i'm not counting Sproles) he's my favorite on the roster(Ivory). Soooo, if healthy 750 yds 12 Td.
