If I would've known earlier I probably would've planned a trip. He's pretty much at the top of my list of people I want to go see.
Is this the first time he's been to Louisiana? He's almost exclusively in Texas.

No he played twice in LC in the past 4 months (opened up for Rodney Atkins the first time 
) He also plays up in Bossier City. One thing is for sure we won't be able to get him to Baton Rouge anytime soon.

He played the varsity in B.R. about 8 years ago. I was one of literally 11 people to see it.

But Mystikal and Juvenile sell out. Last time Jason Boland came he said he wouldn't be coming back to Baton Rouge. Can't get any crowd support unfortunately.

So unfortunate that Baton Rouge has such shitty taste in music. One of the many reason I will be moving to Texas after graduation.

I'm so spoiled. All the top TX country artists play in or around Austin almost every day of the week. I feel sorry for y'all Louisiana folk. ;) But I travel to BR for Randy Rogers and I occasionally have extra all-access passes, so if any of you plan on being at those shows, let me know and I can hook you up. Same goes if you're in the Austin area.

Yeah, the only good act imo is Eric Church and he is starting to fall into the mainstream crowd along with Brantly Gilbert.
I used to love Jason Aldean. Seen him in concert 6 times from Houston to Biloxi. He's just another sell out now. Now i'm anti-aldean.

Not sure if you're a Reckless Kelly fan but they'll be at HOB New Orleans on Saturday night.
A friend and I considered driving down for it because we had free tix but we decided to catch them at Gruene Hall on Sunday instead. And you can always catch Willy Braun and the boys at Lucy's after the show. Buy him a Tito's and grapefruit and he'll be your friend for life.

I saw RK a year or two ago at Lucy's in BR. Very badass acoustic show.
