Been off of here awhile, and was looking around rivals and noticed he is the #4 DE. Had 17 sacks last year

What our are our chances? Says canes are close to his heart

Bama, LSU & USC seem to be on him really hard

Everyone wants him badly because he's really good.

His name is in every article about SEC recruiting.

"Demarcus Walker and Tim Williams are two more from out of state who are looking hard at Alabama," Watts said. "Walker has UA and Florida in a dead heat currently while the Tide is battling in-state LSU for Williams signature. Both are among the top 60 prospects in the country."

Defensive End Committed: ? Rockwall Heath's Jay Arnold Targeting: ? Alief Taylor's Torrodney Prevot. Prevot's current favorites are the schools that have shown him the most attention to this point - A&M, Texas, and LSU. But more schools are showing interest by the day such as Oregon which could delay his decision until the fall. Position: solid ? Baton Rouge University's Tim Williams. LSU leads. Position: Back in the pack ? Lancaster's Daeshon Hall. He's committed to Texas, but he's already been to A&M once. Texas, of course, will try to shut down any repeat visits, so A&M will have their work cut out for them to get him back, flip him and keep him. Position: still up in the air

Yeah, I think the banking on the kids stuff constantly thrown around here is overrated. 70% of the LSU team has kids.

I know for a fact that at least 14 guys on the team have kids. And one has twins on the way. I know that's not 70% but I'm sure there is more idk about.

Yeah theres nothing wrong with that, I was makin a point that players on the team, some from out of state have kids and it did not affect their recruitment. The guy with twins really dosent want word going around but I'm sure it will be all over twitter soon enough.

Not trying to be a smartass, but is the kid chained to a building? TR was from Pensacola, but just took his kids with him to T-town. Is there reason to think the kid's mother wouldn't want to move wherever Tim does?

Trent Richardson to Bama made sense. Pensacola is practically part of Alabama, and there are a ton of Bama fans there. Moreover, Pensacola is an hour closer to Tuscaloosa than Gainesville (4 hrs vs 5 hrs). Tallahassee is closer, but still 3 hours away from Pensacola (3 hrs vs 4 hrs).

Thats what I was about to post. Moving 3 hours away from your kids and family is much different than driving 7-8.

Jai Eugene had kids as well. When it comes down to make a decision between leaving your kids behind for something that's hours away or the same thing that's right in your backyard.......

....and didn't someone that goes to school with him post already that he values his family and being able to play in front of them?

Sure, he's going to take visits, and I don't blame him, but ultimately, whenever it's time to male that decision to leave your child and family behind, it's a tough one to make.

I was going to look that up, amazing that people think crossing state lines is such a big deal. If TR was from Gainesville or Tallahassee it would be one thing, but there's no D1 school a block away from Escambia HS

Richardson's signing bonus also had a lot to do with his family moving to Bama with him. No guarantee that Williams is either open to that or being offered that. Contrary to popular belief, not every kid is given big money to sign nor willing to take it if offered. Bama's budget may be hurt a bit by Foster and co this year.

Not picking on just Bama either as I'm sure our funds will be used as well. I have no doubts we were willing to pony up for Richardson as well. We just got outbid.
