Talent wise you have
Mingo and Montgomery as the first two ends on Mel Kiper's Board already. Freak Johnson will be a top 10 pick IMO one day and should be all SEC level this season. Logan and Fergosson are both going to be nice Draft picks as well. Downs will be a great third down specialist if we choose to use him there and could start games for us. Obviously we are stacked at D line, so will this be the best we have had?

Couldn't you make an argument that last year's D-line was actually better talent wise because of Brockers?

Freak and Logan are going to be nasty with Ego and Downs coming in to sub for them. Hard to believe we are this strong with Brockers leaving.

Freak was a freshman and the ends were only sophmores. The Improvement that everyone should naturally make should more then make up for losing Brockers. I mean we are basically losing a lottery pick in Brockers and replacing him with a guy who could legitimately be a better player then he was.

Idk the poster's name but when we signed Logan there was a guy who'd come on the rb everyday and say he was better than davenport because he'd watched both play in highschool.

He always said davenport was overrated due to shitty competition, and that logan got no love because of his school. Tards gave him shite but boy was he money on that call.

I think Ego will have a big year in the rotation,as will Rasco. The depth we have is just disgusting.

And yes it may very well be the best D-line since....last years line Mingo and Sam will be beasts and Bennie and Freak will be a great combo. Add in experienced back ups to that line up and you have a hell of a line

I'm shocked that out of all the recruits I just named that Davenport would be the one to fall so far. With Al Woods it was obvious he needed to be in a 3 - 4, with Davenport I think it is a lack of effort and getting to the weight he needs to get down to.

We have back ups on our line that would be in the running for all conference if they played somewhere else.

I just don't see how last years could possibly be as good as this years will be. Brockers is getting replaced by a guy that is just as good and everyone else has another year of experience.

I agree. Im just saying last years line was probably the best group we have had since 03. Last year our line was damn good. I predict more sacks this year with the experience we gain
