Firefly. Their total frick up with it helped make it the cult classic it is today.

I can still remember a transition period when we loss use of our gigantic satellite to cable TV (small road with no cable lines in the early 90s). FOX was fuzzy as BIGFOOT! It would come in better late at night and early in the morning. The little black and white in the kitchen would always show it clear, though!

I remember the experts laughed at it when it started. They never thought it would take off. I would say the Simpsons, Melrose Place, and In Living Color changed the game. Especially In Living Color.
