Mine is basically anything with Tuna. My favorite roll around BR is either the Karatuna roll from Waka house or the Ichiban roll

Mixed sashimi plate is my go to order. I don't care for the rolls although I always the two-piece sweet shrimp served raw on sushi rice and accompanied with the shrimps heads flash-fried. Shrimps brains are ridiculous.

Sashimi has absolutely nothing to do with sushi.

Not correct. You're confusing the term sushi with "maki".

Not this again...

Maki = Roll

Sushi = Use of seasoned rice

Sashimi = Protein with no sushi or rolling involved

Class dismissed.

No need to show off how smart you are. I pointed out that I didn't like sushi because I don't care for the rice except in the case of sweet shrimp. I am aware of the differences I just choose to not be so pretentious.

No worries my friend.

I'm glad you mentioned amaebi, because that's a dish I use to gauge a restaurant. If they can prepare quality amaebi, usually everything else is top notch...not to mention it's one of my favorites.

They come from Sushi Yama in Baton Rouge's Facebook page.

Okinawa, Monroe, Little Rice Roll, and
