Frank Davis moving from Slidell to Houston area

The Naturally N'awlins host is pulling up stakes and moving closer to some of his family that moved to Houston after Katrina...
Katrina flooded his Slidell home(behind O.L.L.) and he immediately bought a house at the end of my street(north of I-12)...actually keeps to himself...some think he's a bit of a snob...
I've heard lots of different opinions on the guy over many years...
What say the Outdoor Board? What is your opinion on his leaving La? or What's your perception of him you have formed over the years?

Guy that I work with can't fookin stand him. According to him, Davis pissed my buddy off at a boat show when he bypassed kids wanting an autograph to try to chat up some hot chick. Also, heard he was a prima donna asshat when acting as a judge at a cooking contest in Hammond.
Personally, never liked his show and found his Yat shtick to be contrived and entirely over the top. Not gonna miss him.

He actually has a few good recipes in some of his cookbooks.
He has F'd up many a spot of mine over the years. He had an okay program, but he has a strong reputation as being an arse. Heard enough about it to believe it. Either way I wish him well, he made a lot of people happy covering New Orleans over the years.

Stopped him once when I guess he was filming his show or for a show, he seemed a little agitated that I checked him like everybody else but wasn't an a-hole or anything.
