The bullpen performance has been impressive this season.

Nick Goody 1.10 ERA - 24 Ks - 16.1 Inn - .175 Opp B/avg - 13.2 K/9 inn

Joey Bourgeois 1.88 ERA - 18 Ks - 14.1 Inn - .174 Opp B/avg - 11.3 K/9 inn

Chris Cotton 2.16 ERA - 15 Ks - 16.2 Inn - .203 Opp B/avg - 8.1 K/9 inn

Bonvillain was lights out yesterday.

We may not have a guy like Matty Ott's freshman year, but the overall depth and consistency of the pen could mean a nice run a tournament time.

One big lefty in the starting rotation and one on first base would be a nice addition.

Joey B has been suprisingly outstanding this year.

He has. I wonder if his inconsistency two years ago was related to arm issues which led to the Tommy John surgery.

Whatever it is, I am glad he is back better than ever.

Bourgeois is also in much better shape now than he was two years ago.

Our starting rotation is disgusting. We don't need help there. We've got a big lefty in Bonvillain and a small lefty in Cotton.

He's also picked up a couple mph's on his fastball and his curveball has become redonkulus.
