I saw Journey and Def Lepard twice on the same tour. Once at the DTE Energy Theater in Detroit and at the New Orleans Arena a month later. By far the two best concerts ever....
I saw STYX, REO Speedwagon, and Foreigner in Disney World and that is a close second.

The best single performance was RUSH at the New Orleans Arena. Best day was Jazz Fest two years ago when I saw Trombone Shorty followed by Van Morrison followed by B.B. King
After that it's probably Rise Against at the House of Blues (the retarded teenagers in the mosh pit cost this one the #1 spot), Pearl Jam at Jazz Fest, and Flight of the Conchords at the Santa Barbara Bowl

Garth Brooks when he played at LSU. Recorded some of the album Double Live at that show. Concert seemed to go on forever.

i was going to post Ministry at lalapalooza in like 91? was a hell of a show. the red hot chill peppers had no hope having to follow that performance.
most memorable for me was the violent femmes only because it was one of the three bands on "my list" and it was just a big frickin' party because who doesn't know the words to every violent femmes song? they actually sounded like shite that day but it was a fun time.

Most emotional was Re-Birth at the 2006 Jazz Fest. Truly an awesome experience. I wept like a child. Best ever was U2 on the Unforgettable Fire Tour. The album was a tribute to MLK and I saw the show in Atlanta on his birthday. He is buried there and I lived in Atlanta as a child for a few years and went to the same school as his children. Didn't hurt that I was in the Turtle Record's suite in the Omni.
The other best are all Dead shows, don't recall much.

Incubus in Pensacola around 10 years ago. Phantom Planet was the opening act. Even though we were probably 300 rows back, the show was amazing.

Eric Clapton - Blues tour - Jimmie Vaughan as rhythm guitarist - HOB New Orleans, 1994. Only sold a few hundred tix so the place wouldn't be so crowded. Being that close to a master at his craft was amazing. He and the band just called out songs to each other - no real set list. Unbelievable.

Saw Queen either in 77 or 78 in New Orleans
It was that one or one of the many at the PMAC or Centroplex when I was at LSU
From the Who, The Stones, The Eagles Fleetwood Mac, Zepplin, Bowie, Elvis, Grand Funk Railroad or one of concerts at the Warehouse.
Ya'll missed some great concert dates
