Is Panera Bread still expanding to Nola/Northshore/BR/Laffy??

Anyone have updates? It seems like we haven't heard anything in a while or seen actual construction of any potential locations.

Yes.
Not sure about the B.R. location but Metairie will be open anytime now. Outside of building is complete and I would imagine most of the build out is done too.
The Covington location has it's walls up so I would say another 90-120 days on it.

I work for the franchise group opening these. Metairie will open early summer and the rest will follow rather quickly

According to The Advocate and BR Business Report it will be on Corporate next to Mid South Bank.

i've only been once, and it was good. i had a sandwich of some sort. their bread (go figure) is most excellent. it's like a cafe style place with sandwiches, salads, soup stuff.

Saw they pulled the permit for build out. The one in Metairie appears to be nearing completion.

Man I feel bad for you guys sometimes. I see you guys pining over chains that are all over the place around my way. Of course, you guys are a short drive from some of the best food in the world, so I guess it shakes out.
