I know we would've all likes to see him go against ND to get a better comparison between him and McCune. But based on his most recent performance, while bearing McCune's BP performance on Sunday in mind, do we see Nola working on Sunday in our first SEC series?

not sure, but I like him better than McCune in that spot. McCune still has potential, but I think he is in danger of mental collapse on Sundays now that he has had a rough start to the season. McCune could be more useful in a different role in my opinion

Consider me on the Nola train!

Who starts tomorrow vs. McNeese? Anyway they start Nola on Wed and then again on Sunday (assuming he does well vs. McNeese)?

My guess is we're going to start a guy who doesn't get to pitch often against McNeese...I doubt Broussard can go after pitching so much on sunday. Might be a good chance to get Michael Reed or Carson Baranik a start.

I think McCune will start on Sunday vs. State...but Nola will be ready in the pen at the first sign of trouble...especially if it's a rubber game.

I'd say odds are Nola gets the Sunday start.

eta: nevermind just read this from the advocate

Nola will start against Northwestern State on Wednesday but won’t pitch as long as he would have been scheduled to on Monday so he can come back on the weekend against Mississippi State in LSU’s SEC-opening series. ...

I think they'll prob throw him for a few innings wednesday, maybe 3. Then use him as needed this weekend. If not needed on Friday or Saturday, then he could start on Sunday.
